Hey surviving fotopagers. Yup, i'm still around, I guess i've just lost my drive to have an interesting shot posted every day. My 4GB memory card ensures that I never have to unload my pics, so i've done alot of shooting.. just not much uploading. I've also been experimenting a lot with the time lapse function of my Canon Powershot G9, and i've got a few good ones, here's one of mine from youtube:
Also here's a few shots I took today of a dried flower floating in a glass of water. One of my favourite customers gave me that flower at work one day. I've grown so accustomed to his visits that when I see him walk in i'm already making him what he wants - a medium coffee with 1-and-a-half sweeteners and two creams, plus finding out if the Toronto Sun paper is available, and if not - getting him one from the recycling. He likes to sit and sip his coffee while tackling the Sun's sudoku challenges.
I really appreciate this kind of soul-baring; those words that come from deep place that we usually don't listen to when getting through the day. I usually read them and then read them again.
